1. Agreement
These Terms of Service govern your use of the Akù mobile application, operated by NIPPYSKY ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Akù you agree to these terms.
2. Eligibility & your account
You must be at least 13 years old. You sign in with a magic link or one-time code sent to your email — keep access to that email secure, and notify us at contact@nippysky.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. The service
Akù lets you manually track income and expenses, manage bill reminders, create savings goals, and receive personalised insights and notifications. Akù is a manual tracking tool only: we do not connect to your bank, hold funds, move money, or act as a financial institution, payment provider, or investment advisor.
4. Not financial advice
Nothing in Akù — insights, projections, or notification messages — constitutes financial, legal, tax, or investment advice. Always consult a qualified professional for decisions that materially affect your finances.
5. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the app
- Do not circumvent security measures such as encryption or the app lock
- Do not use automated means to access or scrape the app or its API
- Do not violate any applicable law
6. Push notifications
Akù sends reminders and insights throughout the day. There is no master in-app notification settings screen at the moment. You can disable notifications entirely in your device settings, and you can still adjust bill reminder timings on each bill when creating or editing it.
7. Intellectual property
The Akù name, logo, design, and software are the property of NIPPYSKY. Your financial data remains yours.
8. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we protect it, including end-to-end encryption of your financial records.
9. Disclaimer & limitation of liability
Akù is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, NIPPYSKY is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app, including decisions made based on information displayed in it.
10. Termination
You may stop using Akù and delete your account at any time (More → Delete Account, or via our deletion page). We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.
11. Changes & governing law
We may update these terms and will note the revision date above. These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
